Dar Anika is a traditional town house hotel in the heart of the Medina. Location is everything and Dar Anika is almost unique in having vehicular access to the front door, at the end of Riad Zitoun Kedim on our door step is the Badi Palace and the Saadian tombs. The famous Djemma el Fna is a short 5 minute walk away straight down the souq that fronts the riad.
Accommodation
Within the Riad there are 9 rooms and one suite, all differently sized and decorated. All rooms are air-conditioned and have direct dial telephones, wi-fi internet connection, refrigerator and safety deposit box. No rooms in Dar Anika have TV?s or sound systems and this is to preserve the peace of the experience. The Riad room is a comfortable room which can be made into either a double or 2 twins. It benefits from a small private garden. The bathroom has a bath tub or Shower, W/C and Washbasin. The Superior Riad room is a doubled bedded room with sitting area & small sofa which can be made into childes bed. The bathroom has a bath tub/shower, w/c, & washbasin. The Suite is larger than the rest of the rooms. It is double bedded, with a sitting area in front of an open fire for the cooler months. The bathroom has shower, w/c, washbasin.
Food & Beverage
The roof terrace has tables for breakfast, lunch and dinner, sun beds and a splendid Arabian Nights tent for lounging in the shade during the day and dining or a late drink in the evenings.
Facilities & Services
The ground floor centers on the exquisite marble carpet courtyard. Off the courtyard is a heated swimming pool, hammam & massage room for true relaxation & wellbeing. The traditional salon is separated by picture windows allowing for air-conditioned cool in summer and a fire blazing in winter. The roof top terrace is the perfect place for breakfast, or to relax away in sun drenched days on the sun loungers. The chef offers a unique mix of modern & traditional cuisine. What ever your desires our aim is to offer a succession of little pleasures.
Children Policy
The Riad is not designed with children in mind, with stairs and an unsupervised swimming pool. Please note that children under 10 yrs old are not allowed, while the elder should be supervised and not disturb the peace of the Riad.
Useful Information
The Riad is located nearby or within the souk area of Marakech. As some taxi drivers may not know of the accomodation and may not be able to accompany guests to the door of the hotel, clients are advised to book a transfer from the airport where door to door service will be received!
