Le Méridien St Julians is situated at the heart of the beautiful St Julians promenade, on the waterfront of Balluta Bay, in Maltas primary resort area. The hotel is built within the grounds of the 18th century Villa Cassar Torreggiani, which is being renovated into a dining area. The façade of the hotel draws from the interesting architecture of the surrounding area with a feature of balconies and terraces for all rooms overlooking the bay and countryside behind.
Accommodation
The twin rooms offers stylish and contemporary décor, warm colours, comfortable furniture and soft furnishings, spacious bathrooms with separate showers and separate WC. Rooms are available with either one king bed or two single beds. Rooms are approximately 33 square metres in size and views vary from terraced country fields to valley views or inland. All rooms have either a balcony or terrace. Interconnecting rooms, non-smoking rooms and rooms for the physically challenged are also available on request. A number of rooms can also accommodate a rollaway bed on request. The Junior Suites are considerably large and spacious, ideal for both business and leisure traveller. These rooms can be ideal for families or triple occupancy and have high speed internet access. Some of the Junior Suites interconnect with a Standard or Deluxe rooms (on request). All Junior Suites have a balcony or terrace and size is approximately 39 square metres. Food & Beverage
Choose between A la Carte or buffet restaurants. The Mediterranean Brasserie is an a la carte restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A menu has been created by Two Star Michelin Chef Michel Rostang that will offer contemporary cuisine featuring Italian, Greek, Spanish, Moroccan, Lebanese, Provencal and Maltese flavours, with a distinctive French flair. The Scirocco Restaurant is the main breakfast venue of the hotel, offering a wide choice of fresh products with a focus on healthy living and a balanced diet. In the evening the buffet displays modern Western Mediterranean cuisine, with a speciality of exotic hot dishes. The Villa Brasserie is located separate from the hotel. The 19th century villa with its grand staircase entrance, offers a number of dining options in a setting of modern and traditional design. The Villa Brasserie offers contemporary Mediterranean cuisine created by Michelin Chef Michel Rostang. La Bajja Pool Bar & Grill offers simple grilled meat and fish dishes, salads, snacks, and freshly squeezed juices, served at Maltas highest located restaurant with stunning views over Balluta Bay. Open seasonally. The Villa Terraces & Deli Barista combines a traditional bakery/grocery with an Italian coffee shop. Service is on terraces overlooking the Bay. KU DE TA Bar & Lounge is serving a light menu of salads, sandwiches and wholesome snacks with a choice of seating from various lounges, outdoor terracing or the bar. Champagne Lounge Bar: Michel Rostang, the Two Star Michelin chef, is developing a simple menu for the hotels gathering spot that will offer stunning sea views from the lobby three floors above street level. Guests will be able to drink or dine in a sophisticated indoor atmosphere or on outdoor terraces overlooking Balluta Bay.

The hotel is fully equipped with a 1600 sq metre atrium style leisure centre and Spa to ensure clients can relax and treat themselves to a Wellness experience during their stay. The roof top pool with sundeck and restaurant offer magnificent views over the Bay. A host of water sport activities can be booked such as water skiing, jet skiing, sailing and deep-sea fishing.
