Accommodation
This property has 181 exclusive rooms, decorated with noble materials, luxury finishing and furnished to the highest standards. All rooms have a terrace and the superior rooms offer splendid views of the Mediterranean Sea in an atmosphere of privacy and relaxation. The elegantly designed double rooms and junior suites are equipped with the latest technology: plasma televisions with satellite and pay per view channels, Internet and remote control, hi-fi systems, temperature regulators, mini-bars, and safes. Other equipment and fittings include direct line telephone in lounge, room(s) and bathroom, free ADSL internet connection, air conditioning and central heating, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers (junior suites have a full stereo and CD system), towels, exclusive Bvlgari toiletries basket, radio, complete bathroom in each bedroom. In addition the junior suites also feature fully equipped kitchen, hydromassage bath and independent lounge. Extra beds are at clients? disposal free for children up to 11 years old. The intelligent design allows the suites to have an adjoining room, whereby it is possible to create a single private and roomy suite in which even the terraces can be connected, if you so wish. Please note that while baby cots are available for free, only one cot is allowed per room or suite. Rooms for non-smokers and people with disabilities exist. You will find the Ristorante L?Ambasciata, a prestigious gastronomic restaurant from Italy, endorsed by a Chef with two stars in the Michelin Guide. Abanda, an international rice bar where you can enjoy superb rice in a unique atmosphere. La Proa, a luxury seafood restaurant which will delight the most demanding palates. Lorea, a pleasant restaurant with the very best of Basque cuisine, which also serves breakfast. All restaurants have a wonderful terrace with Mediterranean view. Sofia Cócteles, a distinguished and elegant bar, full of personality, where you can taste the delicious cocktails created by our barman. Boulevard Café, the perfect meeting point for lovers of the sun, the beach and the relaxation. Guadalpin Hollywood Watersports, based on the beach where you can use the facilities for a small charge of, water skiing, jet ski, Pedalo or banana boat in the summer months. Lovers of the sun, sea and the beach have an area set aside for them. On the hotel beach there is the magnificent Beach Club Guadalpin with refreshing cocktails and snacks. Similarly, the hotel itself has a pool bar where you can enjoy a large variety of refreshing drinks as well as tropical fruit juices on its swimming pool terrace. Sport & Leisure
The Gran Hotel Guadalpin Banus has a large solarium with a heated outdoor swimming pool with deckchairs and parasols and a children?s pool. You are also given the chance to enjoy Guadalpin Spa at the Gran Hotel Guadalpin Marbella & Spa, using the free shuttle service running every 30 minutes. Health and beauty go hand in hand with Guadalpin Spa, a completely innovative spa over 1.200 m2 in size, with a magnificent dynamic swimming pool and four different sections: individual treatment booths, a modern top of the range water spa, a thermal area and a relaxation area. If you wish, you can enjoy a relaxing massage by the sea and in the peace and quiet of your own room, at the hands of the Guadalpin Spa professionals. The welfare facilities also include a fitness centre and Cebado, the prestigious hairdressing firm (see next paragraph). The fitness centre is a modern room, completely equipped with the most up-to-date sport equipment where you can get away from it all and sculpt your body. Please note: that for both the spa and the fitness centre entry is not permitted to people under eighteen years old. For those who prefer a challenging game of golf, the area around Marbella has the highest number of golf courses in Europe with twenty seven golf courses close to the hotel and a total of forty along the coast. With the new free Wireless Internet service you will be able to surf the web with your laptop from your room or from any other place in the hotel, without cables and at any time of the day. The hotel also offers its clients via satellite the daily editions of more than 180 newspapers from over 60 countries around the world. Most newspapers included in this service are not usually sold at newsagents so this is the only way to read them.
