Accommodation
The hotel consists of 503 rooms in fourteen different low buildings with spectacular tropical gardens and a sizeable central lake. All rooms are equipped with direct telephone line, international TV channels, air conditioning and heating, strong box, mini bar, internet connection, room service, king size bed (2m) or two beds and complete bathroom. Baby cots are available on request and will count as 1 person in the room and not in addition to the maximum occupancy.
Food & Beverage
The Caribe Resort Hotel disposes of 6 bars and 6 restaurants: the El Bohio buffet restaurant with outside terrace overlooking the lake and children?s play area; the Salsa Café Grill restaurant (a magnificent terrace right on the resorts white beach); the La Bodeguita Del Medio piano bar with outside terrace overlooking the lake; the El Tinglado with a board programme of nightly thematic shows; the La Piazza Italian buffet restaurant with outside terrace and the Puerto Viejo (seafood restaurant) on the pier.
Sports & Leisure
The excellence in the Caribbean details of the complex can be seen from the entrance itself. Two paradisiacal beaches, tropical vegetation in the recreation areas and tropical shows that allow you not only to see the Caribbean, but to feel it too. The complex has a large pool (2000m2) with white sand - the only one of its kind in Europe. You can enjoy the best beaches without leaving the hotel; white sand, crystal clear water, palm trees... 1500m2 swimming pool with Caribbean theme, spa area with indoor pool, massage room, Jacuzzi and sauna, children?s pool at the Turtle Island children?s club and solarium are also available. In addition the hotel offers an endless number of activities such as kayak, horseback riding, trekking, hiking, mountain biking, sailing, as well as golfing at the Bonmont and Aiguesverds Golf Clubs which are only a few short minutes from the resort as well as cultural activities (the Route of the Monasteries, Roman Tarragona, Modernist Reus, the Ebro Delta and Barcelona which is 50 minutes away).

Isla Tortuga Children?s Club is an exclusive play centre for the young ones where they can enjoy variety of games, meet Tula the turtle and participate in a wide range of activities. Professional animation staff will take care of children will be under the supervision of a specialised staff while their parents will continue enjoying many activities of the resort. Also offered: installations adapted for children, babysitting service, children?s pool, playground area with games, equipment and extensive programmes of activities with specialised personnel.
Universal Port Aventura & Costa Caribe Tropical Water Park
Port Aventura theme park will carry you to five fun?filled worlds: from the Mediterranean to Polynesia, from China to Mexico and finally the far West. As a guest of the hotel Costa Caribe you are entitled to entry to Port Aventura for the whole period of your stay (limited winter opening hours; please contact the park directly). Then there is the Costa Caribe Tropical Water Park where you and your family will enjoy the most thrilling aquatic adventures (except for months July & August free entry once per stay). You will be exploring the most incredible emotions of your life...Entrance charges when applicable are ? Costa Caribe Water Park: ?18 adult / ?14.50 child.

Caribe Resort offers its unique installation, located on the noble floor of the central building where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the resort. All the meeting rooms use natural light. They are spacious, column less and can be divided into the ideal venue for your meetings. Excellent professionals are ready to serve you. They will consult and collaborate with you in order to make your event unforgettable. You will combine work with enjoyment in an incomparable setting. The Convention Department has portable panel walls (from 20 to 500 people with direct access from outside and adapted for disabled persons), audiovisual equipment (state-of-the-art plasma screens for internet connection services and multi-conferencing, fibre optic installations for internet connection, TV and loud speakers in the conference room) and other services such as simultaneous interpreting, cloakroom service, hostess service, personalised secretaries, flower decorations, music, shows, organisation for all kinds of complementary activities (cultural trips, tourist routes, sports activities, various outdoor training activities etc.) and a wide selection of culinary delights.
Useful Information on Distances
By plane: the nearest airport is in Rues and is only ten minutes away by car. The Barcelona airport is 103 km away and the Girona airport is 194 km away. By train: Universal Mediterranean has its own station. Ask RENFE national railways for more information. By bus: there are bus lines from the main Spanish cities. By car: from Barcelona, just one hour by Motorway A7 (La Jerquer - Valencia) with a direct exit (exit 35) to the Park. Alternatively Route N-340 (Barcelona - Valencia), Route 420 (Tarragona - Terrell) or Route N-240 (Tarragona - Leda) can be taken. Please note that all distances are approximate.
