Sol Sharm is a complete hotel with 238 rooms and suites, bars, restaurants, convention rooms, and a varied entertainment, sport and leisure offer for the whole family, built in 2003. The Hotel is located in the south of the Sinai peninsula, close to Aqaba Gulf, one of the most famous places of Egypt due to its exotic marine fauna and its coral reefs. Although surrounded by large beaches such as Ras Nusrani Bay, it is only 10 minutes away from the airport.
Accommodation
There are 219 comfortable double rooms, 4 luxurious chalet suites with 2 bedrooms and kitchen appliances, 5 one-bedroom suites and 3 two-bedroom suites. All rooms are equipped with fridge, air-conditioning, satellite television, complete bathroom, and have terrace or balcony. The maximum capacity of the standard rooms is 3 adults or 2 plus child.
Food & Beverage
Sol Sharm offers you a buffet restaurant, and a pool restaurant. Besides, you can enjoy a piano bar, an Arabic café and a pool bar.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:30, with theme nights), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant Fayrouz. During breakfast beverages from dispensers (mineral water, juices), tea, American coffee and hot chocolate are offered; during lunch & dinner, all the above plus soft drinks from dispensers, local draught beer & wine (by the glass). Light late breakfast takes place in Sinai lounge from 10:00-12:00. Snacks (two items of food) along with self-service beverages from dispensers are available at the Tiran pool restaurant between 16:00 & 17:00. Tea time with dry tart and English cake is from 17:00-18:00 at the Sinai lounge. Kids have a special corner in the main restaurant for lunch & dinner. They can also have ice cream, cakes and juices from 16:00-17:00 at the kids club. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like soft drinks, mineral water, tea, coffee, juices, draught beer, cocktails, gin, vodka, rum, brandy and whiskey are served at the beach bar (10:00-sunset), the Sinai lounge bar (10:00-midnight) and the Rosetta pool bar (10:00-sunset). Guests can have self service beverages from dispensers at the Badia Beduin tent (19:00-24:00, plus oriental hot drinks) and the Amphitheatre bar (plus beer by the glass during show time). On arrival day there will be one small bottle of mineral water per person in the room.

The hotel offers a magnificent daytime and evening entertainment program, including a water-sports activities centre for children and teenagers, health club with gym, sauna, massages and aerobic classes; activities club, private beach with nautical club, snorkelling and nearby diving centre, beach volley, beach football, etc.

Sport facilities at the hotel include gym, French bowls, beach volleyball, water-polo, table tennis, kid?s activities and animation organized by the multilingual entertainment team.
Chargeable Extras
Imported beverages, spirits in Fayrouz main restaurant, espresso, Shisha (water pipe), fresh juices, fresh cocktails, canned soft drinks, drinks after midnight, food after 22:30, the Aida bar (24 hours), the Tiran restaurant from 13:00-16:00, in-room mini bar, room service orders, any other beverages other than those listed above, spa, sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, massage, hair dresser, shuttle bus to N?aama bay, billiards and internet are available at a charge.

On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is ?10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor?s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
