Cork’s newest eatery McGettigan’s Cookhouse & Bar was launched at the Ambassador Hotel in 2014, taking inspiration from McGettigan’s Cookhouse & Bar Dublin located in the 4 star North Star Hotel in the heart of Dublin’s Financial district. McGettigan’s Cookhouse and Bar is committed to using the finest quality, locally sourced, ingredients and provides a relaxed environment for our guests & customers for every visit. McGettigan’s Cookhouse and Bar also boosts Cork’s newest outdoor decking area which was a huge attraction for outdoor BBQs and social and corporate gatherings over the Summer, with customers enjoying fantastic ambience, great food and spectacular views over Cork City.

We believe that Cork City and county has some of the best farming land and producers in this country. We always try to source the majority of our fruit and vegetables locally. We also believe in sourcing our meat and fish from Ireland
